Dale Reeve, Headteacher at TBSHS, said “We are extremely proud of our sixth formers and the way they have maintained the high standards set by their predecessors. I am thrilled for the students, who have worked so hard to gain great results and shown such character and resilience along the way. They have put in a great deal of hard work, sometimes in the face of real adversity, and been supported throughout by our inspirational teachers and dedicated support staff. Congratulations to all our students, we wish them the very best of luck as they now head off to university, on apprenticeships or straight into employment. We’ll look forward to hearing how they are getting on when we see them all again in December at our Awards Evening.”

Mark Brunker, Head of Sixth Form, added, “Members of this year group have excelled in so many aspects of school life, performing wonders musically, on the stage and in competitive sport, whilst raising huge amounts of money for charity.  We are extremely proud of the whole year group and the academic progress they have made is hugely impressive. I’d like to congratulate the whole group and wish them every success with their future endeavours.”

As a year group the boys have done incredibly well and there have been some phenomenal individual achievements. These successes speak volumes for the hard work put in by the students and their inspirational teachers and for the great support from parents. We are particularly proud that we have been able to add real value to our students during their time with us. Many thanks are also due to the dedicated tutor team, ably led by their Head of Year, Rob Stark.

We are delighted that the vast majority of these students have chosen to stay on into the sixth form at TBSHS and will be able to enjoy the great opportunities it provides.”
