Teacher of Mathematics (Full or part time)

Required for September 2019

MPS/UPS + London Fringe Allowance

We are seeking an enthusiastic Mathematics teacher to join our successful department. The appointed candidate would be expected to teach the age and ability range. A desire to teach Further Mathematics would be advantageous, though not essential.

We have a very supportive Maths department, who work well together as a team and enjoy teaching the subject. The vast majority of our students really enjoy learning Maths and this is partly due to the inclusive, yet aspirational nature of the department. We have a strong history of success at GCSE and A Level, with consistently high results achieved every year. Typically 70% of our A-Level Mathematicians gain A* to B grades and 100% of our Further Mathematicians typically gain A or A*. At GCSE our results have always been close to and often above 90% grades 4 to 9 (A*-C).

Since our time as a specialist Maths and Computing School, Maths has been a very popular choice at A-Level with over 100 students choosing to study Maths and typically more than 10 studying Further Maths. We value staff development, with A-Level teaching being shared across the department. The appointed candidate can expect to gain significant enjoyment and professional fulfilment from working here.
