Interact operates as a charitable organisation, raising money through various events and activities for local, national and international charities. Students who give time to raising money also gain valuable managerial experience of running an organisation. Recent events have included an Auction of Promises, Sleep Out, The Weakest Link and Who Wants To Win Ten Pounds? The Club also raised money for Operation Christmas Child, The Railway Children, The Red Cross, Shelter and Space. Interact also manages the Sixth Form Tuck Shop which makes over GBP 1500 each year.
The highlight of many of the students' work for Interact is the bi-annual expedition where a group of students get the chance to undertake voluntary work overseas. In recent times, strong links have been made with centres working with street children in Madras (India) and Oaxaca (Mexico). Over the past ten years Interact has also supported projects in Zimbabwe, Kenya and Peru.
